My story starts around 8 years back when my uncle started to travel around the world. He sent me pictures and I was telling my mom and dad that would be me one day. So in 2015, when I was 20 years old I decided to do my first solo trip to Iceland in January 2016. I should go for 11 days, rent a car and drive around the beautiful island. And that's what I did, I was scared when I got to the airport not knowing what would happen when I got there, after I arrived I picked up my rental car and started driving to my hotel. It was scary but excited at the same time. After 2 days I freaking loved it! After those 11 days, my eyes were opened and I definitely knew I would travel way more. A month later I booked my next solo trip, the first time outside Europe. In September 2016 I flew to Indonesia for 26 days. Started in Jakarta, trough Java and ended in Bali. The culture shock was shocking but wonderful. I saw some beautiful animals and some culture I will never forget.
After those 2 travels my dad decided he wanted to see with his own eyes how I travel, so we decided to go to Morocco for 10 days together, that was back in January 2017. I loved to travel, but I hated to go back after a few days or weeks so I took the decision to quit my job and travel for how long I wanted. I started to save a lot of money; some my car and booked a one-way ticket to Bangkok. I've been in Thailand for a short time, I flew to Malaysia. I've seen a formula1 grand prix for the first time in my life, and I've been so lucky that I saw my idol win the race. After a couple of weeks, I met some really awesome people that made my journey even better. I flew back to Indonesia and after that, I visited the Maldives, Vietnam, Philippines, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco.
I've been travelling for 5 months, with ups and downs. Seen the most beautiful beaches in the world; have been driving over 5000km on a motorbike in Vietnam, have been to the gamble Capital of the world. In the meantime; a dentist pulled my teeth like on the street; I've been bitten by a spider in the Philippines and have been in 2 typhoons. Would I do it again? Definitely! So at the end of 2018 I decided to go for another 3 months, but now to the states, South and Latin America. Starting in NY, Miami, Peru, Bolivia, Cuba ending in the Bahamas. Have seen some of the most beautiful structures in the world, Machu Picchu; the salt flakes, the city that never sleeps, and smoked some cigars in the old cars of Havana. I just came back in December and I'm looking forward to the end of the year when I can go again.. Damn, the world is beautiful...
